Rodent Policy & Procedures 1. As I am not a veterinarian, I cannot diagnose or treat medical conditions. Please see a qualified vet for any health worries. 2. All advice given is just a recommended idea of what you should or shouldn't do with your animal and each animal is different in their own right. Getting to know your own animal personally is a vital part of having the privilege to keep an animal. 3. I can teach you many things with Rodents. Everything I do and know about rodents comes from real, hands‑on experience. 4. I take no responsibility if your Rodent gets loose or runs away. 5. Lice treatment might not get rid of them on the first treatment. Depending on the type of hutch/cage & bedding you have. Due to this another treatment or 2 might be required. 6. Cancellations: Please give at least 24 hours' notice for all changes or cancellations. Late notice will incur the full-service fee. 7. Property Access: If I cannot enter the site at the agreed time, waiting time is taken from your booking. After 1 hour of no access, I will leave and charge the full fee. 8. Equipment: Clients are responsible for repair or replacement costs if my equipment is damaged by others on-site. 9. Conduct: I have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of abuse, threats, or harassment. Such behavior will result in immediate cancellation of work without a refund and may be reported to the police. Your safety and my safety are my top priorities at all times. 10. To help keep your rodent safe, I handle every animal calmly and carefully and follow good hygiene and handling practices. Rodents can be unpredictable and may move suddenly, so there’s always a small risk of minor stress or accidental bumps despite best efforts. If I notice any signs of discomfort or risk, I’ll pause and adjust the approach right away.
