Cancellation Policy

Animal Home Policy & Procedures, Terms & Conditions 1. Bookings: Confirmed once date/time, areas/enclosures, and price are agreed. Tell me the animal type(s) and any special needs. 2. Access & safety: Provide access details. Animals must be secured as agreed; disclose bite/escape risks. 3. Included (as booked): Clean cages/enclosures/animal areas, wash bowls/accessories, and reset the setup. 4. Fish tanks/ponds (if booked): Clean and reset. Water treatments can be supplied by you or provided by me as an extra cost (as agreed). Not included: Vet care, pest/mould treatment, hazardous waste/biohazards. 5. Handling: Only with your approval and if safe; service may be adjusted if an animal is stressed/unsafe. 6. Supplies: You provide any species-specific items (food, bedding, treatments). I supply standard cleaning products unless you request specific ones. 7. Any electrical products or light bulbs must be turned off and moved to a safe, dry area before I begin cleaning. This helps me clean properly and safely. If any electrical product is accidentally damaged during cleaning, I am not responsible for repairing or replacing it. 8. Cancellations: Please give at least 24 hours' notice for all changes or cancellations. Late notice will incur the full-service fee. 9. Property Access: If I cannot enter the site at the agreed time, waiting time is taken from your booking. After 1 hour of no access, I will leave and charge the full fee. 10. Equipment: Clients are responsible for repair or replacement costs if my equipment is damaged by others on-site. 11. Conduct: I have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of abuse, threats, or harassment. Such behavior will result in immediate cancellation of work without a refund and may be reported to the police. Your safety and my safety are my top priorities at all times. 12. To help keep your animals safe, I handle every animal calmly and carefully and follow good hygiene and handling practices. Animals can be unpredictable and may move suddenly, so there’s always a small risk of minor stress or accidental bumps despite best efforts. If I notice any signs of discomfort or risk, I’ll pause and adjust the approach right away.
