Cancellation Policy

Pet Sitting in Your Home, Policy & Procedures 1. I am not liable for anything your Animal destroys while under my care. 2. Meet & greet required for first-time clients, plus written care instructions. 3. Access & security: key/code/alarm instructions provided in writing; I’ll secure doors, gates, windows, and enclosures each visit. 4. Visits & scope: once or twice daily, 30mins or 1 hour per visit (extra time can be booked). Basic feeding, fresh water, spot cleaning, and welfare checks included. 5. Health & meds: meds given only as instructed (owner supplies). Vet + emergency contact required, with an agreed spending limit for emergencies. 6. Exotic pets: owner provides correct food/supplies and clear handling + enclosure requirements (heat/UVB/humidity). 7. Safety: behaviour/escape risks must be disclosed; unsafe handling may be paused and the plan adjusted. 8. Updates: daily message with notes (and photos when possible if requested). 9. Cancellations: Please give at least 24 hours' notice for all changes or cancellations. Late notice will incur the full-service fee. 10. Property Access: If I cannot enter the site at the agreed time, waiting time is taken from your booking. After 1 hour of no access, I will leave and charge the full fee. 11. Equipment: Clients are responsible for repair or replacement costs if my equipment is damaged by others on-site. 12. Conduct: I have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of abuse, threats, or harassment. Such behavior will result in immediate cancellation of work without a refund and may be reported to the police. Your safety and my safety are my top priorities at all times. 13. Liability: Owner confirms pet is vaccinated/treated for fleas/ticks (as applicable) Limits on responsibility for pre-existing conditions and home security issues 14. Payments: due dates and any travel/holiday surcharges are agreed before booking.
